dried fruits come from various locations throughout South America.
For example, freeze dried Golden Berries / freeze dry golden berry
are native to Colombia and Peru whereas Mangos can be found
throughout the Andes Mountain region.
The process of freeze
dried fruits begins with picking fresh fruits from the best growing
regions of South America and transporting the fruits to the
processing centers. The fruits are washed, peeled and sliced in the
processing process. The fruits are then placed into a
state-of-the-art freeze-dry machine that removes water from the
fresh fruit and transforms it into a crisp piece of
fruit.

and Freeze Dried Golden Berry / Freeze
Dried Physalis, Acai Berry are also both
available in conventional / organic.
Processing is slightly differentiated with different fruits but all
fruits are thoroughly washed prior to peeling or slicing. Once
preparation of the fruits is finished they are placed on racks and
put into the freeze dry machine. Water is then removed from the
fruits through a process called sublimation. This process gives
freeze dried fruits the ability to re-absorb water later
on.
