The project entails establishing the following facilities:
The Main Plant
Raw Materials storage area
Cold storage
Adminstration block
• The main plant will be designed using the best equipment available world wide.
• The plant orientation will be conducive to optimum conveying, processing and packaging of the product- French Fries.
• The main plant will install certain equipments such as the potato peeler as a dry carborandum roller equipment system, which does not need water. This is a common practice. The alternate system uses water pressure to cut potatoes and there is significant water wastage in such a process. This has been avoided.
• The main plant will be designed for absolute hygiene and clean environment as per international norms and will have GMP and HACCP routines in place. These are essential requisites for product quality and acceptance both locally as well as for exports of the finished product.The project entails establishing the following facilities:
