Its creator, Peter Ghyczy intended the chair for use in the garden as well as indoors, and because of this its particular features are well adjusted for a life outside. With the top folded up, the garden(egg)chair is a comfortable place to relax in, on its soft cushion interior. When flipped down, it turns into a stylish piece of garden art with a resistant exterior hiding the cushion away underneath its waterproof cover for all-weather use.
