All Jewelery are hand made my myself in my kiln. Dichroic glass was developed for use in the face shields of space suits, it is created by multiple micro-thin metals including gold, silver, titanium, aluminium, zirconium, magnesium and silicon being applied to the under surface of the glass, which is then kiln fired at extreme temperatures in a vacuum causing the metals to melt and rise to the surface of the glass. To add depth to my exquisite jewelery, multiple layers of glass are fused over the top of the molten metals in multiple firings. Certain wavelengths of light will either pass through or be refracted, causing the array of colors that delight in this spectacular jewelery. Each piece of Dichroic Jewelery is UNIQUE! No two pieces can ever be recreated the same. Pendant sizes range from : 1cm x 2cm & 2cm x 2 1/2 cm on a *8 ct gold plated bail or silver plated bail. Stud Earrings are on surgical steel post with hypo allergenic clasps size approx 1cm x 1cm Hanging stud are on silver/gold plated hooks. Size 1cm x 1cm Tear Drop earrings are on silver/gold plated hooks. Size approx 1cm x 2 1/2 cm.
