Glass wool belongs to a category of glass fiber, is a kind of man-made inorganic fibers,using quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other natural as the main raw material, with some soda, borax and other chemical raw materials melting into glass, in melting state, with the help of outside force blow type flocculent dumped into fine fibers, fibers and fibers interchange and intertwine, presenting many small gaps, the gaps can be seen as pores, therefore, glass wool can be regarded as porous materials, having a good thermal insulation, sound absorption performance.
