1． Properties The soft textile glass fiber sliver is produced from c-glass with boron, including different staple lengths. The filament is in the scope of ***1.5 micron, having a slight twisting and a maximum sizing content of 1.5%. The products are non-hygroscopic, resistant to organic substance, chemicals and bacterias, fadeless when exposed to infrared and ultraviolet rays. The products have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, incombustibility, good heat and sound insulation, low elongation and high dementional stability, good textile property and low electrostatic charges. The products are easy to dip into the resin, suitable for asphalt-waterproof rolls, pipeline wraps, decorative fabrics on wall, ceiling panels, shades, substitute for asbestos, filtration/ insulation materials, battery separators, lamp wick, building foundation material.
