Producing Technology

Hot forging- forging processabove the recrystallization temperature.

Hot rolling- rolling processabove the recrystallization temperature.

Cold rolling- rolling process of plastic deformation temperature lower than recovery temperature.

Annealing- heat treatment processheating the metal slowly to a certain temperature sufficienttime, cooling at a suitable speed (usually slow cooling and sometimes controlled cooling).

Acid pickling- metalimmersed in aqueous solutionswith sulfuric acid to remove oxides and other films on the metal surface. It is the pretreatment or intermediate treatment of electroplating, enamel, rolling and other processes.

 





Two popular Grades of titanium plate and sheet:

Grade 2 Titanium

Gr2- commercially pure titanium used in most of the chemical processing plants and is cold formable. 

Gr2- ultimate tensile strength at and above *0,**0 psi.

Grade 5 Titanium

Gr5- quenching and aging treatment needed, grain structure of the finished piece is more homogenous, can processed to the closest size of the desired part.

Gr5- ultimate tensile strength can be as high as **0,**0 psi.
