material is a fabric that fibers are
arranged in a criss-cross
(0°/*0°)
orientation and fixed with adhesives. Due to
the special arrangement of fibers, UD armor material shows
excellent ability in energy absorption and shock
resistance, it is much more suitable for
manufacture of body armor than the woven UHMWPE
fabric.
