Calcium Silicon Alloy introduction
Si-Ca alloy,
which is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer, is composed of
silicon, calcium and iron. It is widely used in the production of
high quality steel, mild steel, stainless steel and nickel-base
alloy, titanium-based alloys. It is also suitable for the training
workshop as the heating agent, and the additive in the producing of
ductile casting iron, and inoculant of casting iron. Now, we began
to use electro-silicothbrmic process in the production of Si-Ca
alloy.
Calcium silicon Alloy application
1. In steel industry, used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
2. In converter steelmaking,it can be used as warming agent.
3. In cast iron production, it can be used as inoculant.
