High resistance heating alloys are characterized by high electrical resistivity, low temperature coefficient, good resistance to corrosion and oxidization as well as good linearity of resistance versus temperature. Alloy: Cr*0Ni*0, Cr*0Ni*0, Cr*5Ni*0, Cr*0Ni*5, Cr*0Ni*0 Availability: Cold rolled strip: 0.*0～1.0×**0～**0mm 1.0～2.5×*0～**0mm Hot rolled flat: 4.5～*0×*0～**0mm Forged rod / bar: Φ*0～**0mm Hot rolled coil: Φ8.0mm Cold drawn wire: Φ0.*0～6.0mm, etc. Typical characteristics: It is characterized by: 1. high electrical resistivity and low temperature coefficient of resistance, 2. good resistance to corrosion, 3. thermal stability in oxidizing atmosphere, nitrogen gas and ammonia gas, 4. high strength in a high temperature, 5. nice cold machinabilty, 6. low thermal stability in sulphureous and sulphide atmosphere as well as in a of high temperature and moist reducing atmosphere. Applications: The service temperature (surface temperature) of this kind of alloy can reach up to ***0℃. It can also be used for high ohm electrical resistance components as a resistance. So they are widely applied for manufacturing electrical heating elements for high temperature industry or experimental furnaces, household appliances, locomotive shunts, and general meters etc. But working in a sulphureous, heat and humid reducing atmosphere should be avoided for this kind of alloy.
