Copper melting furnace composed by furnace top, furnace body and furnace bottom. Top has a feeding port and exhaust port. Furnace body has a number of air-holes on each side. Furnace bottom has copper-out-hole and slag-out-hole.
Material of copper furnace is copper ore (oxidation ore, malachite or sulfide ore), coke or PET coke for fuel, quartz and limestone as flux. Material, fuel and flux are dropped into furnace, through the furnace wall into the lower outlet of the drum the air to make coke combustion, high temperature melting furnace charge, and a variety of chemical reactions occur, producing matte (copper is about *0%) / blister copper (copper is about *0%) and slag, matte / blister copper output formed copper ingots, while the slag discharged and then refine.
