Steel scrap defined as HMS 1 & 2 in where HMS 1 Quantity to be *0% HMS 2 Quantity to be *0%, mix under IRSI codes **0 through **6. HMS 1 Code **0: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron and/or steel scrap ¼ inch or steel scrap ¼ inch and over in thickness. Individual pieces not over *0 x *4 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging. HMS 1 - Code **1: Heavy melting steel 3 feet x *8 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap ¼ inch over in thickness individual pieces not over *6 inches x *8 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging. HMS 1 - Code **2: Heavy melting steel 5 feet x *8 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap 1.4 inch and over in thickness individual pieces not over *0 inches x *8 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging. HMS 2 - Code **3: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron or steel scrap, black and galvanized.1/8 inch and over in thickness, charging box size to include material not suitable as No.1 heavy melting steel. Prepared in a manner to ensure compact charging. HMS 2 - Code **4: Same as ISRI **3 but max size *6 x *8 inches. HMS 2 - Code **5: Same as ISRI **4 but free of sheet iron or thin gauged material. HMS 2 - Code **6: Same as ISRI **4, but max size *0 x *8 inches. C: Density: **0 kg/ cubic meter Minimum. D: Weight: **0 kg/ pc. Maximum E: Thickness: 3 mm minimum for HMS 1, & between 3.2 mm for the HMS 2 F: Impurities: 1 % (one percent) is allowed, any material other than the Steel or iron, shall be considered as impurities. That means that the supplied scrap should be free from dirt, non-ferrous metals (Copper, Nickel, Tin, Al., etc.) or foreign materials (non - metallic of any kind such as rubber, wood, concrete, plastic, etc.), closed containers, electric motors, motor turning blocks etc. G: Strictly not permitted in the product: The unused/new items of any kind or reusable items or are not permitted in the goods. LMS packets/bundles are not accepted. Car body scrap is also not accepted. Goods must be free of all explosives, shrapnel, cartridge, other arms or ammunitions used or otherwise, , torpedoes, mines, shells, cartridges, sealed containers or tanks or envelopes, gas cylinders, in any form. Free of all radioactive material, chemical products, Batteries used or unused, engines, electric motors, used tiers, paints or other dangerous, poisonous or unwanted materials, and free of organic waste, or other dangerous substances or war material. H: Over Size: only 2 % is allowed per container without any penalty, but the oversized piece must not be over 7 feet in length and over **0 kg in weight.
