• HPAAcould be dissolved and separated in two forms of [HPAA]*-and [HPAA]*- in water of PH **9. It could collate with Ca, Zn to form a protection membrane of 1:1 chelate complex in the surface of metals. It is usually complexed with Zn to ace as corrosion inhibitor, and it is also a very good scale inhibitor.
