The equipment is used for thickening and washing various pulps.

Application

ZNX series inclined screw thickener is a gravity-filter. It lifts stock by a rotating screw in the housing which is inclined about *0°. It is used for thickening and washing in low consistency and medium consistency rang of waste paper pulping process and it is also suitable for thickening and washing pulp such as sulfate wood pulp, mechanical pulp, and chemi-mechanical pulp, etc.

Structure features

ZNX series inclined screw thickener consists of screw, brush, screen, frame, feeding and discharging unit and drive, etc. Pulp enters the screen basket via level-regulating box from lower part of thickener. The white water is draining out through screen as result of increased pressure and level difference between inside and outside of the screen when the screw is rotating. The thickened paper stock is shredded by blades on upper end of the screw and discharged out of the trough. The white water is collected in the filter tank and flows out of the white water opening.

·The capacity and outlet consistency of the inclined thickening can be varied with screen plate holes, the length and pitch of the screw and rotation speed, etc. In general, when used for waste paper pulp, screen plate hole are 1.*2mm, and inlet consistencies are *4% and outlet consistencies are ***2% .

·The machine is simple in structure, easy in operation and maintenance, high capacity, less area required and it is safe and reliable.

·The inclined screw thickeners output or consistency can be changed by means of the level boxs pulp consistency and the pulp level difference.
