Thanks to the development of welded pipe technology, the inner weld scar offline scraping machine has been prepared for welded pipe manufacturing so that the weld scar can be scraped when it remains red and soft. However, the shutdown ratio of this machine is rather high due to poor environment, thus inner weld scar of some welded pipes (accounting for *0%**0% of the output) has to be scraped offline when it has become cold and hard.



Traditionally, the weld scar is removed by manually scraping the inner side. This method is of low efficiency and heavily consumes the abrasive wheel. Also it is difficult to control the scraping quality with this method. All these make the weld scar removal a difficulty in welded pipe production.



To satisfy the demand for high quality welded pipes, our company has developed a new automatic inner weld scar offline scraping machine, thus completely overcoming this difficulty.

It is the working principle of this machine that a trailer wagon driven by a frequency converting motor, with a pull rod, trails a scraping head, on which installed some carbide scrapers whose position can be adjusted either separately or as a whole. The scraping head has two groups of positioning roller against inner surface of pipes and has a hydraulic lifting cutter to control the lift and descending of the scrapers, together performing the scraping of inner weld scars.



This machine is equipped with a range of auxiliary equipment to fulfill the positioning, rotating to look for seam, clamping, feeding and discharging of pipes. In addition, the machine is also fitted with perfect automatic scraper protection device for the scraper inlet and outlet, therefore accomplishing the automatic process of offline inner scar scraping.
