This instrument is used to judge the degree of aging by testing the dielectric loss of insulation oil. The resistivity of insulation oil can also be tested.
Dielectric loss factor is very sensitive to aging product. When the aging degree is little, it is difficult to notice through common chemical method. Dielectric loss factor can be used to identify it apparently.
