Knitted mesh filters can be supplied in any metallic or non-metallic material that can be drawn into a filament. Knitted wire filter materials can be stainless steel wire, copper wire, galvanized iron wire and polyamide fiber. They are available in a wide variety of forms including mesh rolls, circular and rectangular pads, complete filters and compressed elements. Metal alloys or plastics can be provided. These knitted meshes are highly resistant to corrosion and can withstand temperatures in excess of ***0°C.
