Kokum Butter is extracted from the kernels of fruit of the Indian tree called Garcinia Indica. Kokum Butter is the most stable and hardest vegetable butters known. This Butter is solid at room temperature, but melts immediately on contact with the skin. It's triglyceride composition is uniform, and consists of up to *0% of stearic-oleic-stearic (SOS) triglycerides.Fatty acid levels are low, indicating an absence of any powerful lipolytic activity.
