Product Description

Polybutadiene rubber (BR) is, as a homopolymer produced by the polymerization of 1,*-butadiene, has three different bonding structures in the microstructure, i.e., 1,*-cis, 1,*-trans and 1,*-vinyl. The types of polybutadiene rubber can be divided into high cis BR (HBR) and Low cis BR (LBR), depending on its 1,*-cis content. High cis BR (HBR) refers to products with their 1,*-cis content of more than *4%, possessing excellent abrasion resistence, repulsive elasticity, aging resistence and water resistence. In addition, as the product has secondary transition temperature as low as ***0℃, it is the most widely used synthetic rubber together with SBR. We mainly produce KUMHO KBR *1, *1L and *1. KBR *1 and *1L are used for tires, footwear, belts, rubber hoses and other mechanical rubber products, whereas KBR *1, containing aromatic oil, is mainly used in conveyer belts and tires due to its excellent performance in the treads of snow tires.
