Ladle Covering Compound is a neutral insulating covering powder for
all kinds of steels and cast steels. It is applicable for
protecting surface of the melt in casting-box and switch ladle when
casting of the steel is continuous.
Ladle Covering Compound in contact with a surface of the melt
reacts exothermally and it expands. During the reaction a rising of
compound occurs what assures excellent insulating properties.
Neutral structure of the covering powder assures that the surface
of the melt does not react with atmospheric surroundings and
metallurgic reactions after contact powder-melt are not possible.
