Laminated insulated glass is a high-performance composite glass product that combines the benefits of laminated glass and insulating glass. It offers exceptional safety, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and UV protection, making it an ideal choice for applications with stringent performance requirements. Laminated insulated glass is widely used in architectural windows, doors, curtain walls, and skylights, it is particularly suited for high-rise buildings, street-facing residences, commercial complexes, and spaces with heightened safety demands.

Laminated insulated glass structure
1. Outer Layer:
Typically made of tempered glass (heat-treated for enhanced strength, **5 times stronger than regular glass). When broken, it shatters into small granular pieces, significantly reducing injury risks.

2. Laminated Interlayer:
A PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) film is sandwiched between two tempered glass layers and bonded under high temperature and pressure. Even if the glass cracks, the fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, preventing shattering (enhancing explosion-proof and anti-burglary performance).

3. Insulating Air Gap:
The laminated glass and another tempered glass (or laminated glass) form a sealed air or argon-filled cavity, framed by aluminum spacers and sealed with structural adhesive. The air gap typically ranges from 6mm to *4mm, providing excellent thermal insulation and noise reduction.

How is laminated insulated glass manufacturing at our factory
1. Tempered treatment: The glass is heated to **0℃ and then rapidly cooled to form surface compressive stress.
2. Laminated laminate: After cleaning, lay PVB film and bond under high temperature and high pressure in an autoclave (about **0℃, ****4bar).
3. Hollow assembly: Separated by aluminum spacers, filled with molecular sieve to absorb moisture, and double-channel sealed to prevent air leakage.
