Lubriguard™ SKYBLUE®DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)is a non-toxic, clear, chemical, urea solution for use as a reducing agent for SCR systems (Selective Catalytic Reduction) in diesel-powered vehicles. Toxic NOx exhaust emissions are reduced to the following components of air, nitrogen, water and carbon dioxide, thereby removing previous environmentally and physically damaging pollutants from further entering the atmosphere.

Lubriguard™ SKYBLUE®DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)is stored in a supplementary tank on the vehicle. The dosage, approximately 2% of fuel consumption, is calculated precisely by the vehicles electronic computer and injected into the exhaust duct. DEF is a *2.5% aqueous urea solution of the highest purity. Its constant quality is guaranteed by compliance to global quality standards DIN ****0and ISO ****1.

Lubriguard™ SKYBLUE®DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)should be stored between *2°F (**1°C) to *6°F (*0°C). Protect it from direct sunlight. Avoid contamination while filling. Do not mix with other substances. Only use as directed. No liability if not used and stored as directed. The shelf life of DEF is a direct function of the ambient storage temperature. DEF will degrade over time depending on temperature and exposure to sunlight. If stored between *0° F and *0°F, shelf life will easily be one year. If the maximum temperature does not exceed approximately *5°F for an extended period of time, the shelf life will be two years.
