Product Description


Silica Fume Concrete
Silica fume is used in concrete.
When it is used in concrete, it acts as a filler and as a cementitious material. The small silica fume particles fill spaces between cement particles and between the cement past matrix and aggregate particles. The silica fume also combines with calcium hydroxide to form additional calcium hydrate through the pozzolanic reaction. Both of these actions result in a denser, stronger and less permeable material.

Silicon Dioxide (SiO2): *5 to *7 %   Moisture Content: Maximum 2.0 %   Loss on Ignition (LOI): Maximum 2.0 %   Oversize percent retained on **-μm (**5 sieve): Maximum 2 %   Specific Surface: Minimum *5 m2/g   Density: **0 to **0 kg/m3           (Densified Silica Fume and UnDensified Silica Fume)   Packing: Jumbo bags of **0kg/bag (*0 bags per *0 FCL)          or *0kg or *5kg small plastic woven bags.   Payment: T/T or L/C at sight
