INTRODUCTION
QY HMK series
metric needle roller bearings has an open end design and
features larger OD's to handle greater loads. These drawing
cup bearings are separable radial bearings that feature very
high radial load carrying capability. Needle roller bearings are
not able to support any thrust loads.
The bearing cup
(outer ring) is precisely drawn from strip steel, but may become
out of round during heat treatment. It is incorrect to inspect an
unmounted drawn cup bearing by measuring the O.D.
QY drawn cup needle roller bearings can be supplied with an oil hole, centered in the drawn cup, to facilitate lubrication. These bearings are also available with integral seals to retain grease or non-pressurized oil within the bearing while preventing contaminants from entering the raceway area.
