Melamine-modified Urea Formaldehyde Powder Resin

Urea formaldehyde resin glue is a thermosetting resin formed through condensation reaction of urea and formaldehyde. It is one of the most frequently used glue in timber processing industry. However, its resistant to boiled water is low and friability high. When it is modified through melamine and other auxiliary agents, its resistance to boiled water is improved significantly (more than 6 hours of boiled water resistance without cracking) and friability is also greatly improved. At the same time, content of free formaldehyde is reduced significantly. It is applicable for products with strict requirements on waterproof such as wood laminated floorings and bamboo floorings. Its environmental protection performance can be as high as E1 level when it is used in combination with modifier and curing agent.
