Mica Tape

Product Description

Fire-resistant Mica Tapes consist of phlogopite mica paper (or synthetic mica paper) impregnated with a special silicone resin and a glass cloth (or Polyethylene film) as carrier. These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength, and they can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical cables.

Type according to the mica paper:

Phlogopite mica tape, retain insulation properties at 850 ℃

Synthetic mica tape, retain insulation properties at 1000 ℃





Properties:

Resist extreme thermal stresses and give outstanding fire protection; incombustible, asbestos free and do not create toxic gasses; Good radiation and corona-resistance as well as good mechanical and electrical properties; > Excellent tensile strength and good shearing and shock resistance; > Excellent flexibility allows it to be used with the thinnest conductors Availability Thickness: 0.08mm, 0.09mm , 0.10mm ,, 0.11mm, 0.12mm, 0.13mm, 0.14mm, 0.15mm Width: from 6mm to 1000mm Length: 300m, 500m, 1000m, 2000m Standard cores: 52mm, 76mm, Specifications available according to customer requirement. Storage Minimum 1 year at room termperature Packaging One pack is usually at 50kg, sealed with plastic film and packed in carton. The fumigation-free pallet shall be used when exporting. Each pallet contains < 1000KG, or protected by metal drum.
