Micro-Credit for Mechanized Agriculture Program (MIMAP) is an initiative to develop Agriculture through registered Micro-Credit Institutions for the eradication of poverty in Nigeria through the empowerment of farmers, produce exporters and other stake holders in the area of Agriculture.

This scheme will work with the various Agricultural Credit Support Program of finance institutions with the active support of International Funding Institutions/partners and participation by any interested individuals, Micro-Finance Banks (MFBs), Commercial Banks, finance institutions, co-operatives etc.

These funds shall be accessible by participants in different capacities viz;

Individuals
Corporate Institutions
Banks and other Financial Institutions
Farmers
Farmers Co-Operatives
State Government, Its Ministries & Agencies
SOURCES OF FUNDING

The Nigeria MIMA Program will commence with a $*2.**9 Billion funding for a 4 year period.
