Standard single mode fiber, dispersion exists on ***0nm medium. Typical value is *7ps/nm.km. Dispersion restricts the transmission distance and usable bandwidth of ***0nm fiber network, In the condition of super long truck with the distance ≥**0km, dispersion will cause HF CSO deterioration, it is impossible to realize Digital TV transmission for **0~**0MHz. At present, dispersion compensation component mainly contains Dispersion Compensation fiber (DSF) and Chirp Fiber Grating (CFG). CFG compensation module can only has its influence towards the accurate wavelength and suitable for single wavelength transmission. DCF is one kind of special type fiber commercialized, it has excellent negative dispersion features. Typical value is **0~***0ps/nmKm. It is one kind of mature component for dispersion compensation and has widely adopted high speed communication line. DCF has two mainly disadvantages: one is high attenuator value(normally is 0.5~2dB/Km):the other is short Mode Field Diameter and high un-linearity.
