Biofilter deodorization process principle is the use of microbial biodegradation of odor substances to absorb and degrade to achieve the purpose of dehuang. The odor passes through a wet, porous and active microbial filter layer. Using the adsorption, absorption and degradation functions of microbial cells on odor substances, the characteristics of small cell size, large surface area, strong adsorption and various metabolic types of microorganisms, the odor substances are adsorbed and decomposed into CO₂, H₂O, H₂SO₄, HNO₃ and other simple inorganic substances. The biofilter method has high deodorization efficiency and is suitable for the treatment of low concentration exhaust gases in large volume.
