   Onion Seeds (black-cumin, also known as nigella or kalonji) is an annual flowering plant in the family Ranunculaceae, native to south and southwest Asia.
    Nigella sativa grows to ***0 cm (7.**1.8 in) tall, with finely divided, linear leaves. 
   The flowers are delicate, and usually coloured pale blue and white, with five to ten petals.
     The seeds of Nigella sativa are used as a spice in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. The black seeds taste like a combination of onions, black pepper and oregano. They have a pungent bitter taste and smell.
     Nigella sativa oil contains conjugated linoleic acid, thymoquinone, nigellone, melanthin, nigilline, damascenine, and trans-anethole.
   Onion Seed is an item added by the Pam's HarvestCraft mod. Black onion seeds are rich in dietary value. The seeds contain amino acids, proteins and several essential minerals. Onion seed oil is known for its medicinal value. The oil is said to be the best cure for several body ailments. 
   Small black seeds that provide a slightly bitter and somewhat peppery flavor when dried for use in foods. With a teardrop shape and a crunchy texture, the Nigella Seed has a thin outer casing that is rough and sharply pointed covering an oily white interior.
