    This model of ball mill is a lattice ball mill, which is designed as periphery transmission,big gear and pinion clenched together, feeding from one end and discharging from another end. The main operating part is the rotary cylinder which is equipped on the two main bearings and be placed horizontally. The grinding media of different sizes will be loaded inside the drum. The grinding media is common steel ball. The liners are installed inside the drum wall to prevent the drum from wearing.

When rotating, due to the centrifugal force and friction force caused with liner , the grinding media is close to the liner, rotates with the cylinder to certain hight and then falls down freely due to gravity. The grinding media falls down like projectile and crushes the material at bottom to powders.

Besides, the grinding media also slides and rotates during the process of operation. Therefore the grinding happens among grinding media, liner and material, which makes the raw material finer. The rubber liner has been installed between cylinder and steel liner to protect the cylinder and lower down the noise. Since the rubber liner has small elasticity, it makes the grinding media bounce more to increase the grinding times.
