Over current protection component

 Over current protection component  is also know as “re-settable fuse”. It is applied in circuit in series. When the circuit is in normal working condition, the current goes through the PTCR is very low that will not heat up the PTCR to Tc, thus the PTCR is low in resistance. In case of short circuit, the increased current heats up the PTCR, then the resistance of PTCR increases sharply until the circuit is “cut off”. After the circuit problem is resolved, the PTCR cools down and recover the normal working condition. Over-current protection component is used in television set, equipment and instrument to replace the traditional fuse. The key features are reliable and easy for use.
    Thermal protection component  is a sensor. When the equipment is over-heated to the PTCR reaction temperature, the resistance of PTCR increases sharply, and the control circuit, which the PTCR is linked to, cuts out the power supply of the protected equipment to prevent it being damaged. It is used the temperature control and over-heat protection of home appliances, such as television set, stereo device, recorder, transformer, hair dryer, heating blanket, iron.
