The main functions of oxygen lance body are: to supply oxygen and cooling water to the nozzle, whose structure should meet the production needs of converting steel-making, and is favorable to the replacement and maintenance of nozzles, to compensate action force to oxygen lance nozzle caused by outer pipe in case of thermal expansion. Appropriate lance barrel length goes upward oxygen&water supply pipe and downward molten bath surface, oxygen supply meets the need of converter nominal tonnage, and water supply guarantees cooling performance of that the oxygen lance furniture. In this case, oxygen lance designed and manufactured is reasonable, safe and stable, energy-saving and low consumption, which is effective practical converting steel-making equipment.

 

1. Lance body composition: The oxygen lance furniture is composed of three concentric circular pipes. It integrates oxygen lance end with oxygen&water supply and drainage channel with lance tip spraying oxygen forming hollow-shape oxygen lance. Three concentric circular pipes are generally hot-rolling NO.*0 seamless low-carbon steel pipe. As far as converter oxygen lance is concerned, inner pipe is the line for oxygen which flows from oxygen supply pipe at the end of lance to inner pipe blowing in the metal bath through nozzle.

2. The lance body connection:

a. The inner pipe and lance end have two ways of link: One is permanent joint with the flange; the other is gliding joint with the flange.

b. Connection between the inner pipe and nozzle is adopted with sliding connection of O-type rubber rings with welding is fixed.

c. Connection between the inner pipe and lance end is adopted with welding or flange-bolt permanent connection; The middle pipe is the partition board between inlet cooling water and outlet cooling water in the oxygen lance. Connection between the middle pipe and lance end is adopted with flange fixed welding,while Connection between the inner pipe and oxygen lance nozzle is adopted with intubation sliding connection. Cooling water enters the furniture from ring passageway in the outer pipe, middle pipe and inner pipe along the admitting pipe at the end of the lance, and drops to the nozzles guidance diversion board, pools in the die cavity and flows rapidly through end surface in die cavity, turns **0° and enters gap closure of outer pipe, and flows out through discharging tube.
