P*4 4D Theater Effects Chair system consists of four effects seats, one 6 DOF pneumatic motion platform and one chair control box. The four effects seats are installed on the 6 DOF pneumatic motion platform. P*4 is our advanced 4D Theater Effects Chair, and P*4 has been installed in China, India, Russia and Armenia.

P*4 chair is the 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair, the 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair is the most advanced pneumatic 4D effects chair in the market. The 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair continues to have the closed-loop control, digital control circuit, new control software, and the whole system is updated and it also adopts the integrated design. It adopts new 6DOF platform structure and low-noise power system, the system is modular design, so the system is much more stable, and it is quite convenient to install, repair and maintain the system. The 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts three control valves and one displacement sensor for each cylinder to offer multiple velocity options and track the position for better motion control, and the motion of the chairs match perfectly with the film content. The 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts digital signal , the digital signal has much better anti-interference capacity than the analogue signal.

What's more, we install integrated, low-noise air compressor and air container for each P*4 chair, instead of the centralized air compressor. At present most of the 4d theaters adopt the centralized air compressor to power the pneumatic chair, and if the centralized air compressor does not work, the whole theater has to be closed. What's more, if we adopt the centralized air compressor, we have to install a lot of air pipe lines, and we have to build the big equipment room for the centralized air compressor, and we have to take some heat dissipation and sound insulation arrangements. If we install the 4th generation pneumatic 4D effects chair, the integrated, low-noise air compressor and air container are installed under the seats, it does not need additional installation space for the air compressor and air container, and the long air pipe lines, and the sound insulation arrangement is not needed at all. Even if one integrated, low-noise air compressor and air container for the P*4 chair does not work, other P*4 chairs can continue to work as usual. And if we do not need the centralized air compressor, the equipment room could be much smaller.

The 3rd generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts closed-loop control and brand new control system, this new system adopts digital circuit and new CPU, and this new system can execute more complicated control algorithm, and the control is much more accurate, and it has much better anti-interference capacity. Three control valves and one displacement sensor are installed for each cylinder to offer multiple velocity options and track the position for better motion control, and the motion of the chairs match perfectly with the film content. The 3rd generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts digital signal , the digital signal has much better anti-interference capacity than the analogue signal, and we may transfer more data to the chair system, and the installation and commissioning is much more convenient. What's more, the 3rd generation control circuit supports up to *6 channel effects switch value control, and more chair effects can match perfectly with the film content.

The 2nd generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts closed-loop control system, the motion control is accurate, and the chair is safer than the 1st generation chair. Three control valves and one displacement sensor are installed for each cylinder to offer multiple velocity options and track the position for better motion control, and the motion of the chairs match well with the film content. The 2nd generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts analog signal , and the analog signal is quite poor in anti-interference.  

The low end 1st generation pneumatic 4D effects chair only adopts open-loop control system, and one switch valve is installed for each cylinder, the displacement sensor is not installed for each cylinder, so the chair cost is quite low. But the cylinder can only move at one fixed velocity, the motion of the 1st generation pneumatic 4D effects chair is abrupt, and it is hard to control the motion, the motion of the chairs do not match well with the film content. The 1st generation pneumatic 4D effects chair adopts analog signal , and the analog signal is quite poor in anti-interference. We do not offer the 1st generation pneumatic 4D effects chair any longer. Most of the pneumatic 4D effects chairs in the market are still the 1st generation chair.
