L-Borneol is the crystals which distilled and sublimated from the fresh leaves of Balsamifera (Linn.) DC,  the first extraction can reach purity of *5%,no need reprocessing, it has been approved by GMP (Certificate of Good Manufacturing practices for pharmaceutical products People's Republic of China). The borneol source Blumea balsamifera is also an rare medicinal herbs , it is not containing any impurities and harmful ingredients in it.

Appearance is white flake-shape crystal. It smells fragrant and tastes pungent and cool. It is volatile and when burned, thick smoke appears with yellow flame. This product easily dissolves in alcohol, chloroform and ether, but almost not in water.

L-Borneol with a sharp aroma make people relaxed and Comfortable, called"Musk"as usual. It's widely applied in medicine, senior spices or cosmetics as a precious raw material, also in food, daily commodity or health care as additives, and better curative effect than D-Borneol, especially remarkable in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

This product doesn't contain harmful isoborneol ingredient ,which can be took orally. Its medical effect is much better than D- borneol, because the absolute value of specific rotation is higher then D-borneol
