Self-Bonding
polyester-imide overcoated with polyamide-imide enameled copper
wire is a special type of enameled wire of a triple coat. The base
coat is polyesterimide resin, the mid coat is polyamideimide resin,
and the top coat is an extra layer of bond enamel. The bond enamel
is activated after winding. The wires stick to one another forming
a solid and stabel coil. This permits a wide range of applications
for coils with no bobbins. This adhesive has a bonding feature,
which is activated by heat or solvents.
