Product Description

The LPM**5R series combines the powerline communication (PLC) technology, with the networking and the standard router technology. Produced by Galaxy Telecom Technologies, this broadband router enables powerline communication network by integrating a HomePlug powerline communication module inside a broadband router. In addition to normal interfaces of a broadband router, such as RJ*5 for wired ethernet, WiFi or RJ*1 for ADSL, it bridges the Ethernet signal between the powerline and the router, thus using the surrounding power cable as a data network. The client can then connect to the router via a PLC broadband adaptor plugging into these electrical power cable.
