2) Packaging are based on customers' request, be it Flatrack or Container. Both Flatrack and container carries a maximum of 8,**0 to *0,**0 BF depending on sizes / approx ****9M3 of lumber, that goes for both *0 and *0 feet as the *0' basically only accomodates the longer lenghts. The Logs are shipped mostly in the *0' containers which carries a maximum of *9M3. All containers are fumigated (chemical treatment - tablets) before sealed to avoid invasion of pests etc.

Lumber can be dressed (smooth sides / edges etc) or rough sawn (just mill cut not dressed). Some customers request kiln & dried which is oven baked, a moisture extraction process that controls the moisture content of the lumber, that attracts additional costs, hence a hike in price.

3) There are certain procedures that must be followed and documents to be presented at the Guyana Forestry Commission and Guyana Revenue Authority for cargo to be graded, inspected and approved before loading, which includes trucking, brokerage, processing fees and GFC export commission. Similar procedures for the Lumber except that they are sourced from the sawmills.
