1. DC resistance: when electric cable (finished) conducts
electricity at *0°C, the DC resistance of its core of conductor
shall be no greater than 5.*9 Ω/km.
2. Voltage test in water: conduct voltage test (AC: 6.5kV or DC
*5kV) the *0m electric cable (finished) for 5 min. after soaking in
water at (*0 ± 5)°C for 1h, without breakdown.
3. The length of sample with long-term resistance to DC voltage is
5m, and put it into the distilled water containing 3% NaCl at (*5 ±
2)°C for (**0 ± 2)h, exposing *0 cm above the water surface at both
ends. Add DC voltage of 0.9kV between core of conductor and water
(connect conductor wire core with the positive pole and water the
negative one). Conduct voltage test in water after taking out the
sample, with test voltage of 1kV AC, and without
breakdown.
4. Insulation resistance: the insulation resistance of electric
cable (finished) at *0°C shall be no less than 1,**4Ω • cm, while
electric cable (finished) at *0°C be insulated.
