Application :
Machtec QJ Series Mud Cleaner is the second or third stage for drilling fluids separation system, which deals with the mud being  treated by the first grade separation equipment. The barite will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than barite will be removed. Then the barite in the underflow will flow into circulation tanks through the screens when the weighted mud passes while the particles  that are bigger than mesh will be removed.
The cyclone is made of wearing-resistant special polyurethane material, which has good performance in fluid erosion resistance. The feeding port is designed to have a round and smooth transition, beneficial for improved separation efficiency. It is smooth in structure and rational in design.

Machtec QJ mud cleaners can be configured with an CN D-Silter,D-Sander or both over a high performance shaker to process weighted or unweighted drilling-fluid systems.

How it works 
Mud cleaners combine a hydrocyclone system with a shale shaker to help remove the fine drilled solids from the drilling fluid.
Drilling fluid passes through a series of hydrocyclones either D-silter or D-sander units that separate the fine ,light particles from the heavy ,coarse particles. Barite and other heavy drilled solids are then carried in the underflow to a **0 **0 mesh vibrating screen .There,they are separated ,with the barite passing through the screen and returning to the active system .
