The productivity of an open-die forge is determined not only by the forging capacity of the press itself but also by the dynamics in handling the forgings. Railbound Forging Manipulators by Hengjun are equipped with high-dynamic drives that they ensure reliability and repeatability of all forging cycles. This series manipulators can perform five movements, the mobile carriage (travelling frame) moves freely along prescribed path, the gripper carrier rises and lowers, moves forwards and backwards, (all driven by motors, or hydraulically for large tonnage work load), the gripper head clamps (by mechnical drive, for small tonnage work load, or hydraulic or pneumatic drives) and rotates (by hydraulic drive or motor). Our manipulators allow forging near net shapes and guarantee high surface qualities, therefore they save energy, improve output, and save cost while machining the workpieces. Short processing time and reduced reheating cycles result in a short payback time.
