Raw Jute: Tossa HD, Tossa Local (Jessore and Northern), Tossa North Bengal, BTCA and BTCB
BTC: Bangla Tossa - C: Mixed colour, average strength, occasional bark and soft speck but free from runners. Slightly croppy and gummy tops permissible. Free from any black hard tops, well cut and free from black root ends. Avg. Length of 1.5 meter Minimum.
BTD: Bangla Tossa - D: Mixed colour, average strength, occasional bark and speck, but free from runners, croppy and gummy tops permissible. Rough cut and well hackled, but free from black root end. Avg. Length of 1.5 meter Minimum.
BTE: Bangla Tossa - E: Any colour, any strength but free from perished fibre. Free from unretted jute and stick but bark and hard centre permissible. Rough cut and hackled. Avg. Length of 1.5 meter Minimum.
BTCA: Bangla Tossa Cutting - A: Light golden or reddish/copperish with small black hard portion at the bottom. Fibre must be soft with occasional barks/specks. Length ****8 cm (***5 inches) with *0% cuttings permissible below *5 cm (6 inches) and above *8 cm (*5 inches). Free from habijabi, godown sweeping, dust and foreign materials.  
BTCB: Bangla Tossa Cutting - B: Light reddish/copperish or mixed with black hard portion at the bottom. Specks, barks permissible. Length ****6 cm (***8 inches) with *0% cuttings permissible below *5 cm (6 inches) and above *6 cm (*8 inches). Free from habijabi, godown sweeping, dust and foreign materials.
