Application of skin weft:

1 Comb the top portion of the hair upward using a comb and secure with a clip. Make sure that you have created a straight line of hair-free scalp.

2 Hold the skin weft up to the area of the head that you want to place it on and determine where the excess needs to be cut off. Cut the fabric band at the top with a pair of scissors to cut the weft to the proper size.

3 Turn the skin weft over so that the concave section is facing upward and apply a thin layer of hair glue to the fabric band at the top of the weft. Spread the glue out with the tip of the glue applicator so that it covers all of the band.

4 Turn the skin weft over and insert the glue side directly on the scalp. Press down on the top band of the weft and hold it for five to ten seconds to help it adhere.

5 Turn a hair dryer to low and gently position it over the top band of the skin weft to help dry the hair glue quicker

6 Pull a thin layer of hair out from the portion that is clipped on top of the head. There should be enough hair to completely cover the skin weft. Comb the hair out straight so that it is not tangled.

7 Insert a small round clip onto the end of a weaving needle. Grasp a 1/8 inch section of both natural and artificial hair with the hooked tip of the needle. Hold the round clip with one hand and pull the needle through the clip with the other hand to thread the hair through the clip.

8 Push the clip up the hair strand until it is approximately 1/4 inch away from the scalp. Squeeze the clip with a pair of small pliers to secure it in place.
