Description: The cytokine GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes. Used in myeloid reconstitution following bone marrow transplant, bone marrow transplant engraftment failure or delay, mobilization and following transplantation of autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells, and following induction chemotherapy in older adults with acute myelogenous leukemia. *****: ≤0.1EU/μg(LAL) Biological Activity: The ED*0, determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF*1 cells, is < 0.1 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1 x **7 units/mg. Storage and Stability: Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored under sterile conditions at 2℃- 8℃ for one month or at **0℃ to **0℃ for three months without detectable loss of activity.
