Description:

HY-728rtv moulding rubberis mainly used for tire moldmaking with the advantages of high tear strength, high durability, high and low temperature resistance, considerable duplication times, etc. It is suitable for small products or fine and precision products which is difficult to demould. The linear shrinkage of this vehicle tyre moldmaking silicone is even lower than 2‰, which is very favorable for making tire mold. RTV molding 2 part silicone rubber are generally called two-component room temperature silicone rubber with excellent fluidity, good tension and high strength. Add curing agent of 2%-3% at the room temperature, the moulding rubber can keep operational within 30 minutes,and in 2-5hours, an elastic silicone mold will come out with resistance to deformation, extreme temperature, acid and alkali and expansion, and so on.

Tire moulding, ceilling moulding,heritage mouldings, fountain molds, making molds for handicrafts, and so on.

Operation Instruction for RTV-2 Mold making material:

This product is a white flowing liquid with general hardness of 26—30A° when cured . If the customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicone rubber with relatively higher hardness. Contrarily, if the target product is with fine and precision patterns , it should be made of silicone with relatively lower hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If molds requiring faster drying rate, more curing agent is needed (too much curing agent is harmful); contrarily, if molds requires slower drying rate, less curing agent is needed. During the mixing process, some harmful bubbles may be produced, so you need to use certain machine to eliminate these bubbles, or you can simply add less curing agent, stiring slowlier. One important thing that you should keep in mind is that you should add excessive silicone oil because of its bad influence to the mould quality.( If a special soft silicone mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil may be added to soften the mold for easy demould, no more than this range)
