Sapphire UV and IR transmission properties in combination with ability to withstand harsh chemicals, high pressures and temperatures offer strong advantages for Fire and IR Detectors, protective windows and thermocouple protection sheaths for remote sensors and optics for harsh environments such oil well drilling, chemical processing and other industrial processes.

Sapphire lenses, reflectors and optics have the ability to transmit a wider range of infrared than any other standard glass optics.

Sapphire domes are ideal for high durability and accuracy applications including high speed missile domes, viewports, and other front surface optics.

Sapphire Epi Polished Wafers are ultra flat, super clean, stress-free polished substrates.

We have the technology to produce synthetic sapphire prisms as small as 1mm up to **0 mm. The orientation is available as C-axis, A-plane, R-plane, random or per customer’s request.
