SCAFFOLD LAMINATED BOARDS

Laminated Board is manufactured from LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber). The Structural uniformity of LVL makes it the perfect solution for a safe, lightweight scaffold board. Each Board is made from many layers of thin veneer, which increases the reliability and strength of the product. Every Board is individually proof tested to verify that it conforms to OSHA deflection limits before being branded.

Laminated veneer lumber is anengineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thinwood assembled withadhesives. It offers several advantages over typical milledlumber: it is stronger, straighter, and more uniform. It is much less likely than conventional lumber to warp, twist, bow, or shrink due to its composite nature. Made in a factory under controlled specifications, LVL products allow users to reduce the onsite labor.

Shorter lengths are also available depending upon the quantity.

BS***2 SCAFFOLD WOODEN BOARD

All boards end-banded with iron bands and visual graded according to new British StandardBS***2:***9 which is the only valid Standard for this product. This new Standard is requisition that the iron bands are fixed by 7 nails, 2 nails each side and 3 nails on the front of the boards

The British Standard BS***2:***9 specifies requirement for wooden Scaffold - boards with a width of **5 mm and a thickness of either *8 mm. It covers board sizing, board construction, and timber quality and grading, for which it specifies:

a) For *8mm thick Scaffold-boards, as follows: 1.2m support centre, - a grade that is suitable for support at centres up to 1.2m
