Regards for NORMAL  SFP and SDI SFP. Why we do not use 1.*5G or 2.5G normal SFP for lower costs ?

The normal popular SFP 1.*5G or 2.5G , do not have clock recovery function inside . Engineer told , the clock recovery is very very very important for SDI signals . if without this function , when the SDI signals package length up to *9bits , the product will “suddenly shut down for a second ” , some part of the video signals will lost . for example if the signals sourcing send a package like 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 , the normal SFP without clock recovery function will can not read this data package , and you can not see any video from screen / monitor , this part will lost .
