Serial LCD Controller Module Without LCD -Arduino Compatible

It is not very easy to control those LCD***2, LCD***4 or LCD***4 modules, especially for Arduino users. It will take as much as *6 pins of Arduino. If you want to control other modules with Arduino meanwhile, of course, you will find many wires and probably no enough available pins on Arduino board.

So we designed this UART controller. It serves as a display card for LCD screen. It is compatible with LCD***2, LCD***4 and LCD***4. It only takes 4 pins on Arduino (in fact, only 2 data pins- Tx and Rx). You could control it via hardware serial interface on Arduino, or any 2 data pins with SoftSerial library.

We already have an Arduino Serial LCD****2 Shield in our shop. But it can only display *2 letters. Now we designed UART LCD***4 module which can display *0 letters.

Different with UART LCD***2, we separate the LCD and display card. When it comes up to change the LCD, this design is very helpful. For example, you can change the blue LCD to a green one, or you can change a new one if you broken the LCD carelessly.

The serial command is completely compatible with UART LCD***2. So if you want to update your display, it saves you the trouble to rewrite the code. It is powered by 5V, which is compatible with most microcontrollers. Also, the interface is compatible with Arduino Sensor Board, in case you already one.
