Sinoars shear connectors are widely used in composite steel
construction for holding concrete slabs to steel members to resist
shear forces and increase shear loading capacity in steel structure
building, bridges, etc. They also act as embedment anchors on
miscellaneous embedded plates, frames, angles, and so on. Options
for Welding Through Metal Deck are also available for this type of
studs with special ceramic ferrules of Sinoars UF type B
ferrules.
The standard Sinoars shear connector have a aluminium solid flux
(ball).
